In recent decades, life sciences have become fundamental to understanding biomolecule and cellular processes and the mechanisms of life. Scientific research and studies provide the necessary tools that have enabled the enormous breakthroughs in our understanding.
Since April 1997 the mission of VisDocta® RESEARCH has been to contribute to improving life and health through scientific research and innovation by forging links between life sciences, basic sciences, engineering and the environment.
For over 13 years VisDocta® RESEARCH has been supplying innovative scientific tools to many schools, universities, institutes and hospitals all over the world. Tools such as innovative scientific methods, anatomical and pathological specimens obtained utilizing unique safe preservation methods free of toxic ingredients such as formaldehyde or phenols, and also innovative scientific instruments developed to fulfil particular operations and processes.
In October 2000, after obtaining its first patent in the field of biotechnology VisDocta® RESEARCH became a leader in biological tissues transformation and preservation, a new interdisciplinary research centre and reference for other institutes and industries.
After several expositions of specimens in national science museums the mature knowledge and know how made it possible to preserve an Architeutis Sanctipauli and being first in the world to do so.
VisDocta® RESEARCH laboratories continues to receive awards and acknowledgements from government and regional bodies for innovative contributions to a sustainable environment.
Notwithstanding the pressures involved in constant intensive research throughout the past 14 years VisDocta® RESEARCH has been able to deposit a patent or patent application every 33 months.
The laboratory has always maintained close collaboration on developing projects with a number of universities and industrial bodies and this is continuing today.
